great location but minor issues

The front desk staff were supportive, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to Kyoto Station, temples, and various restaurants. In the mornings, I enjoyed a fantastic cup of filter coffee for only 100 yen.

The Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent and could use improvement.

Beautifully maintained room with all basic amenities. Excellent and unbeatable location in Kyoto, really close to Central Kyoto via trains or bus, trains and the center.

Incredible central location, near Kyoto Station which is easily accessible to train or bus as well as bus stops and train station. Modern room, beautifully maintained, with bunk beds, all basic amenities, as for instance.

The hotel was stylish and impeccably clean with very very helpful and extremely friendly staff with excellent service. Location: the property was so close to the transport around-and-out of Kyoto, train station and general public transport and good vegetarian restaurants.

Our room was decent sized and new-fashioned with a safe box, multi-channel TV and a microwave.

Wi-Fi signal near the bed area not reliable!!! Housekeeping schedule too infrequent for longer stays!!! An extra pillow should be an easy option to accommodate personal preferences!!! Communication on room cleaning needs improvement!!!

will definitely go again next time

Had a twin room bunk bed with great amenities. It came with air purifiers, a tv, and a frig, super handy. The bathroom had shampoo, a hairdryer, and free toiletries. Really enjoyed the common areas, especially the bar and library. Plus, it's just a short walk to the station.

Unexpectedly modern and elegant interiors that contrast with the exterior. The spacious Double Room featured a larger-than-average bathroom and an ideal luggage bench. The presence of a Family Mart and excellent dining options, such as a great sushi place nearby, enhanced the stay. Umbrellas were provided , showcasing attention to detail.

The room felt modern with a beautiful interior, and the library area was nice. Plenty of cozy spots to relax after busy days. It lacked natural light was good. The shared kitchen was a nice touch. I exchanged room cleaning for beverages. Luggage storage at reception before check-in was convenient. I appreciated the short movie nights and the free popcorn. Those made the evenings enjoyable. The only hiccup was that my requests for room cleaning didn't go through, as the staff didn't mention the timing restrictions at check-in. It's frustrating to miss out on cleaning because communication fell short.

It's very close to the train and bus station. We loved the good filter coffee available in the morning for just 100 yen, and the kitchen facilities were great for cooking. The atmosphere in the bar and book area was so relaxing, especially after a long day out.

The staff was super attentive and helped me upgrade my room at no extra cost, such a nice surprise. After traveling to kyoto before, this hotel really was great with its cozy library and well-equipped kitchen.

Decent option for a weekend vacation in Kyoto with very nice value for money. The shared kitchen had everything needed to make simple meals, super convenient. Bring a good pair of walking shoes for exploring nearby areas.
